Gameplay Mechanics

This is a PC compatible game using ASDW to move, shift to run, and F for her awesome Energy Kick. There are 4 levels currently and many villains to face so WATCH OUT!

Description of Game:

Whisker Woods is a 2D platformer game featuring a bouncy rabbit who is determined to rid her home of the mischievous villains lurking about. It is a cozy-core visual style using bright colors and characters, but don’t be fooled, some enemies are cute, but deadly. There are 4 levels in this platformer that involve hopping through the trees and mountains while avoiding bats, vultures, bears, and more! Use moving platforms to get in those tough to reach places as well as branches and rocks to leap into the sky. 

When creating this game, I was reminded about all of the games I love to play in my free time such as SpiritFarer, Celeste, Fields of Mistria, and other 2D RPG and Platformer type games. I had a few people that I am close to playtest the game throughout the process to get opinions and unbiased play in order to achieve something that is just the right amount of complexity and enjoyability.
